Free Shipping & Worldwide Delivery

We ship anywhere in the world. If you live in the USA or Canada, then it's FREE! That's right! We will pay the shipping to addresses in the US and Canada.

However, if you choose to have When You Wish Magic pay for your shipping, keep in mind that it may be slower than usual (sometimes up to 2 weeks for delivery). For instance, we may choose Media Mail for Books, CDs, DVDs, This doesn't always happen, and often times our free shipping gets to your destination within 1 week. However, the Postal Service informs us that this type of shipping can take a long time. If you would like something fast and affordable, we suggest you pay for Priority or Airmail Shipping.

Note: Our free shipping policy for the USA and Canadian zones only applies to the following weight scale:

If I live in the USA or Canada and I select Free Shipping, what kind of shipping am I getting, and how long will it take to deliver?

When you select our Free Shipping option, you're basically saying, "I want ‘When You Wish Magic’ to pay for the shipping costs to deliver my purchase to me." Consequently, if you choose to have us pay for your shipping, we will ship your items to you using the least expensive method available to us.

In other words, let's say that you purchase a DVD and choose Free Shipping. Well, the cheapest method for us to ship that to you would be First Class Mail (3-5 day delivery). If your purchase is a book, we may ship it via Media Mail which can take up to 8 - 10 days to deliver. In order to guarantee that you receive a certain type of shipping within a certain delivery date range, you may want to consider paying for your own shipping. Otherwise, we will choose the most economical method of shipping since we will be the ones paying the delivery cost for you.

How To Check How Much Shipping Will Be Before Making A Purchase?

Simply add whatever items you want to your shopping cart. When you've added the last one, click the button that says "Estimate Shipping." This will allow you to select your state or country from the drop-down menus. Then hit the "Calculate" button, and you will see a list of all the different types of shipping and their prices, which you may choose from when you check out.

No returns, no exchanges, and no refunds.

Please choose your items carefully. We have tried to provide enough information about each trick, effect, and/or illusion to help you choose the right items for you. Please read the description of the item carefully and any product reviews on the item to help you make your choices.

Like all other Magic Shops, When You Wish Magic and Collectibles does not allow any item to be returned, refunded, or exchanged for a different item. Defective items will be replaced. Items damaged by the customer will not be replaced.

ASK BEFORE YOU BUY

The time to ask questions about the Magic trick you intend to buy is BEFORE you buy it. Are you concerned about whether you have the skills to do the trick? All of our effects come with complete instructions, have been audience/spectator tested, and meet Magic Industry’s standards. If an effect requires special skills, we try to point that out in the product description.

WHY DOESN’T WHENYOUWISHMAGIC.COM ACCEPT RETURNS?

First: Magic tricks are unlike any other item you will buy. When you buy a Magic trick, you are buying two things: the actual Magic Item and the Secret. Many Magic tricks work on very simple principles and the piece of equipment you get is only part of the trick. The main part is the Secret - the idea, the clever principle, the routine. The people who invent these tricks must be paid for their ideas. It would not be fair for you to be able to order their tricks, examine them, learn the secret, and return them to get your money back because now you know "how it's done".

Second: Magic is a hobby that requires practice and dedication. You must be willing to put some practice into the tricks you buy. Don't get easily discouraged! Even the simplest tricks don't really work themselves - the Magician must present the illusion for the Magic to be really good. Returning a trick just because you don't feel like taking the time to practice it, is not allowed (again - you already know the Secret!). If you don't like to practice anything, or if you are impatient, maybe Magic is not a good hobby for you.

Third: Some good Magic is simple. Sometimes that can be a drawback, because you may receive your trick and think, "Ahh, that's how it works" and be disappointed that it isn't more complicated. Remember that all the tricks we carry have been audience and industry tested. Just because a trick is ingeniously simple, isn't a good reason for wanting to return it.

Some tricks are delicate in design, and can be easily broken if you don't know how to handle them. Please read the instructions carefully before working with your new Magic item(s). We strongly recommend that you do not let others "inspect" or handle your Magic items. Careless handling by others is a main cause of breakage. We sell tricks that are durable if used properly. That's the key: if used properly!

DEFECTIVE ITEM RETURN POLICY

If you receive a defective item (one that arrives already broken or non-functioning), notify us by using our contact form or call our order department at (951) 506-5990 WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RECEIVING THE ITEM and we will give you instructions for returning the item for replacement.

We will replace a defective item with another of the same item only. No refunds. No exchanges.

We apologize, but due to the abuse of this policy by attempts to return items broken by customers while using the tricks improperly, claims of defective items must be made within 24 hours of receiving the item.

Am I going to get what I ordered?
Yes! We ship very quickly. All packages have a tracking number. 99% of the time, your order will arrive quickly, and you will find everything you ordered packed safely in the shipping box. If your order does not arrive in a timely manner, simply contact us by email or call us at (951) 506-5990 during normal business hours and we will take care of it. If you do not receive everything you ordered and paid for (the invoice will be enclosed with your order), simply contact us or call us at (951) 506-5990 during normal business hours and we will take care of it. If you received the wrong item (the invoice will be enclosed with your order), simply contact us by email or call us at (951) 506-5990 during normal business hours and we will take care of it. If an item you ordered arrives already damaged, simply contact us or call us at (951) 506-5990 during normal business hours and we will replace it. In other words, we will take care of you! We pride ourselves on giving the “BEST” Customer Service” possible. If for some reason you are dissatisfied with our products and/or service, please let us know and we will do everything in our power to “make it right”!

Will I be able to do the trick I ordered?
We are constantly adjusting our product descriptions to reflect our customers' experiences. We have already sold dozens- even thousands- of any particular trick and/or effect and the purchasers before you have been very happy with these tricks. All tricks come with instructions. Some Magic tricks and/or effects are harder to perform and may require certain “skill levels”. All Magic tricks require practice! We can recommend a book and/or a DVD that you may consider purchasing to give you more detail about the handling of a particular effect. If you have questions about the handling of any trick or effect you purchase, or have any problems with it, you can email us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we'll be happy to assist you.

Will I like what I ordered?
We certainly hope so. We are careful to offer tricks that are entertaining for both the Magician and the Spectator. Our tricks have received an enthusiastic "seal of approval" from many satisfied customers, but buying Magic is not like buying clothing at Sears. Everybody wears clothing; not everybody is cut out to be a Magician. Please read our Note To Buyers to see if Magic is the hobby for you. And remember- you are welcome to contact us by email 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week with questions about any trick before you buy it.
